Hopefully this place can get more posts than it has now. One Piece is really a great anime that people have gotten ruined impressions of because of the absolute horror of the 4Kids dub. I watched that dub for a total of thirty-five seconds before I shut it off. I got as far as "Yo! Gotta go, gotta go! Yo, yo!" until I turned it off in disgust. At least they didn't ruin it as bad as they ruined Yu Gi Oh.

Trust me, the Anime just isn't worth watching unless you're watching the original with subs. It hasn't been butchered through the cultural exchange.

But the Manga is excellect and very good. It has a great level of detail, though sometimes perhaps too much which makes it somewhat convoluted, but still a great deal of detail. It maintains a silly humor that most can't help but love. And when it does get serious and breaks free from the comedy, it is exceptional beyond words.
